Adult Fellowship:
The United Methodist Adult Fellowship is a Ministry of Hinshaw church to all adults of the church and Greensboro community. Church members and friends of the church come as often as they can. The bus is utilized for pleasure and education. The group enjoys meals both at church and on the road. The MAF travels extensively in North Carolina and throughout the Southeast. Meetings are planned monthly as a trip or a program.
Women's Fellowship:
Purpose:
The organized unit of UMW shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand the concepts of missions through participation in the Global Ministries of the Church. Hinshaw United Methodist Women is a community of women organized for missions. Hinshaw United Methodist Women is a vibrant and dedicated group that actively participates in and supports numerous mission projects, the local church, and community life. Membership is open to all women. General meetings are held twice a year at 6:30 PM on the first Tuesday of the months of January and September.
Circles:
Hinshaw UMW is organized into several smaller groups called Circles, which meet every month. Each Circle offers the opportunity for women through fellowship to form closer relationships. Meeting dates, times, and places are listed below for each Circle.
- Circle # 1 – Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM in circle members’ homes.
- Circle # 2 – Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in circle members’ homes.
- Circle # 3 – Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM in the church fellowship hall.
- Circle # 4 – Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 11:00 AM in the church fellowship hall. A covered dish lunch follows the meeting.

Men's Fellowship:
Goal: Reaching out to include all men of the Church.
The Hinshaw United Methodist Men are one of the most active United Methodist Men fellowship groups in Greensboro. The mission of the UMM is to be a creative and supportive chirstian fellowship. The men meet monthly, the second Sunday of each month for breakfast and program at 7:00 a.m. They support all conference programs (the 4 major emphases) and are chartered by the General Commission of the UMMen. In 2005, the mens group won the Outstanding Fellowship Award from the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. This award is only given out to one mens group each year for the entire conference.
The Men are a service group which provides financial support to individuals and organizations. The major annual fund raisers are a golf tournament, pine needle sale, chicken barbeque, and yard sale. New participants are always welcome. Come and join us at our monthly breakfast: second Sunday of each month at 7:00 a.m. For more information call the church office at 299-6330.
