We believe that as Christians we should follow Jesus' example of reaching out to those who are in need in our church, in our community, and in our world. Because of this, we as church and as individuals are involved in many ministries that reach out to persons. All of these ministries are for the glory of God and the furthering of the Word of Jesus Christ our Savior.

Our church participates in many other ministries including:

• Donations of money and volunteer delivery services to Greensboro Mobile Meals.
• Contributions are made annually to the World Thank Offering to relieve human suffering world wide.
• Volunteers-in-mission, travel to many countries to help build and repair homes and churches.
• Hinshaw Church members volunteer at Hospitals, Greensboro Teen Challenge, Hospice, the Blood Bank, Boy and Girl Scouts, Greater Greensboro Crop Walk, Habitat for Humanity, Greensboro Faith Action and Aldersgate Senior Housing.
• The Church facilities are made available to various community and support groups in Greensboro.
• Donations are made to the Western NC Conference in honor and memory of newborn babies and deceased members. This is used for Conference sponsored missions.
• Support the NC Children's Home
• Support Prison ministries
• Provide support to the Brotherhood / Sisterhood program to help the surviving spouses of deceased ministers.
• Contribute money for scholarships.
• Contribute money for the handicapped and elderly housing.
• Provides spiritual, emotional and financial support to families in need in our church.
• Provides scholarships to preschool children on an as needed basis.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments, worship services and other activities.
• Make hospital, nursing home and homebound visits to our members.
• Participate in a prayer chain to lift individual and congregational needs through intercessional prayer
