Everyone is welcome

Hinshaw is a diverse church in Greensboro, N.C.. We believe in acceptance, tolerance and equality. We strive for unity and oneness in Christ. We do not all look alike, dress alike, talk alike, or act alike, but we are all bound together by our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is God that brings us together and it is our faith in Him that we share. So everyone is welcome at Hinshaw.
 

When to come?

Sunday worship may be the best time to come for your first visit however any event is open to all. Worship begins at 11:00 A.M. Our worship strives to offer up the best gifts of praise which God has given us. It is relaxed but does follow an order of worship. The songs we sing and the instruments we play vary as we are a varied group of people. Some folks dress up, many do not. It is our intentions to not put any stumbling blocks in the way of someone coming to church and being a part of the family of faith. For other opportunities be sure to visit our Get Involved page.
 

When you visit

When you visit we are sure that you will be greeted warmly. We do not single visitors out or make them stand up in front of the congregation. We do however try to learn your name and try to make you feel at home.
 

What’s Next?

After you have visited Hinshaw we of course hope that you will come back. We understand that it can be difficult for new persons to feel apart of a new church. Our goal is to make feeling apart of Hinshaw easy. We are not pushy but we do invite and encourage new friends to participate in opportunities outside of worship that allow for us to get to know one another. It is all about relationships and we encourage new friends and old friends alike to come together.
 

Diversity and Openness

If you are looking for diversity, openness and a church where you won’t be lost in the crowd Hinshaw may be for you. We aren’t a large church but we are an active and faithful one. Come be apart of something special and meaningful in Greensboro. If you have not yet given your life to Christ we invite you to come and learn how much God loves you. If you have given your life to Christ, but are not an active member of another church, we invite you to come and share the Christian journey with other people who will share, pray and minister with you.
